You will also lead a team of Risk Reporting Specialists, ensuring strong delivery and supporting a cohesive, high‑performing environment. In addition, you will participate in Diligenta’s Step‑In Leadership Programme as part of the organisation’s commitment to developing future leaders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering timely, accurate, and value-added risk reporting that supports Risk Partnering and Oversight Teams, and informs governance forums such as RACC and RMCC.
  • Supporting the Risk Governance Manager in maintaining and enhancing the Risk Management Framework and associated documentation, ensuring compliance with version control and review cycles.
  • Driving improvements in reporting quality, consistency, and usability, leveraging technology and best practices to meet evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Working closely with Risk Partnering, Oversight, Specialism teams, and other Line 2 functions (including Compliance and Financial Crime) to ensure reporting reflects key risk themes and supports effective risk management across the business.
  • Maintaining and manage a forward schedule of reporting deliverables and documentation reviews, ensuring timely completion and dependency management.
  • Identifying and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes, enhance data integrity, and improve the clarity and impact of risk insights.
  • Providing input into risk governance initiatives, projects, and assurance activities, supporting the function’s strategic priorities and transformation agenda.
  • Exploring opportunities to leverage data analytics and GRC tooling to enhance reporting capabilities and risk insight delivery.
  • Ensuring internal governance reporting meets senior stakeholder expectations, clearly articulating risk trends and emerging issues.
What we’re looking for
  • Demonstrated experience in risk, governance, or reporting within a regulated environment, delivering accurate outputs to tight deadlines and supporting governance or regulatory reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify insights, and present findings clearly to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, alongside familiarity with risk systems or reporting tools (such as DORAS, Power BI, or automation techniques like macros) to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a small team, fostering collaboration, capability growth, and continuous improvement across reporting processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to influence decisions, shape reporting requirements, and support governance forums.
