About This Role

Summary of the role

Business owner responsible for driving effective delivery of operational readiness activities for strategic change and transformation led initiatives. You’ll be responsible for delivery of all operational readiness activities across large scale, strategic programmes of work which may deliver across multiple implementations and time horizons. The Lead Business Enablement Manager must be able to manage readiness in complex delivery environments.
  
What you’ll be doing
  • Enables the team to ensure pace of delivery is in line with critical path activity by providing an escalation route and support to unblock key hotspots/issues
  • Ensures the decision making across programmes of work is based on protecting the customer outcome/experience and supports operational efficiency/effectiveness
  • Manages delivery across Diligenta and Phoenix operations, with strong stakeholder management, excellent communication and robust issue resolution
  • Drives continuous improvement into the delivery model to ensure each change or transformation led initiative is stronger than the last
  • Looks beyond programme to contribute to make sure we are driving transformation and change through the business that contributes to the accounts long term goal targets
  • The breadth of role provides a unique position to positively contribute to the development of a coaching culture. Talent will be nurtured by providing supportive coaching and mentoring across relevant functions wherever there is an opportunity

  • Strong investigative and organisation skills, with the ability to quickly understand challenges, identify and deliver solutions and implement a structure to enable change colleagues to deliver on their behalf
  • Proven decision-making ability
  • Ability to manage and develop people effectively
  • Good communication & influencing skills, at all levels and up to “Account lead” level
  • Role model for change manager and senior change manager behaviours, skills and disciplines
  • Previous experience of delivering within complex project or programme of work
  • Knowledge of Life and Pensions
  • Knowledge of effective Operations management
