We are looking for a confident and proactive Recruitment Partner to deliver high‑quality, high‑volume recruitment activity across our Standard Life operation. This role will support a recruitment portfolio made up of approximately 70% voice/contact‑centre roles and 30% specialist roles, requiring someone who can balance pace, quality, and candidate experience in a highly regulated environment.  Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, you’ll ensure our recruitment, vetting, and onboarding processes run seamlessly while positively positioning Diligenta in the talent market.

Please note, as this is a people leadership role the successful applicant will be supported to succeed in their new role through enrolment in the appropriate level of our Diligenta Leadership 'Step' Pathway (subject to eligibility criteria), designed to drive quality and consistency across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the key point of contact for all recruitment and vetting queries across the account.
  • Managing end‑to‑end hiring activity for high‑volume voice roles and selected specialist roles.
  • Ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience from application through to day one.
  • Supporting and leading onsite recruitment activity such as meet‑and‑greet days, assessment centres, careers fairs and open days, confidently representing Diligenta.

  • Making sound, data‑driven recommendations to improve attraction, conversion, vetting and onboarding outcomes.
  • Monitoring compliance with recruitment legislation and regulated-business requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with internal hiring managers, understanding operational demand and workforce plans.
  • Managing interactions with external recruitment partners and suppliers, ensuring high service standards and alignment to our processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a small team of Recruitment Administrators who will support volume recruitment.
  • Coordinating onboarding activity in line with regulated‑industry requirements, including, Right to Work, DBS and Employment references.
  • Ensure vetting failures, risks or delays are escalated promptly.

What we’re looking for
  • Strong experience and knowledge of internal recruitment, vetting and on boarding processes as this is essential to the role as the subject matter expert and point of contact for all recruitment activity.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage internal stakeholder relationships and engage confidently with external recruitment suppliers.
  • Experience supporting or leading assessment days, group interviews or candidate engagement events.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present recruitment data to inform decisions.
