About This Role

Summary of the role

To strategize and design the organization's infrastructure needs, aligning design plans with business needs and choosing suitable hardware & software technologies, and protocols and ensuring scalability.

What you'll be doing

• Provide strategies to improve the existing infrastructure systems of the organisation
• Create designs for setting up of infrastructures and recommending best in class and appropriate technologies
• Guide teams in addressing technical solutions and methods to attain the required results
• Provide architecture leadership and support to infrastructure teams
• Provide solutions to complex problems occurring in network programs and projects
• Regularly inspect and work to improve current systems and procedures
• Ensure disaster preparedness; secure backup and recovery methods to protect against system disruptions
• Ensuring resiliency of IT Infrastructure designs

What we're looking for

• Expertise in networking concepts, cloud computing, and principles
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
• Project management skills
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Continuous review of infrastructure systems methods and strategies
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems with field experience
• Knowledge of data-centric operations
• Ability to work well under pressure while solving complex problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
