About This Role

Summary of the role

The Project Management Office Analyst role will require you to support the PMO Manager/Change Portfolio Lead by driving forward a broad range of initiatives in line with governance standards.

What you’ll be doing
  • Actively contribute to the maintenance of Programme and Project governance and standards through ensuring accuracy of data and reported MI
  • Maintain and operate processes to coordinate and assure the effective application of Project or Programme governance including; planning, change control, risk and issue management, dependencies, resource management, work order engagement and budget control, etc
  • Act as a member of the PMO Family and contribute to the maintenance and promotion of best practice standards for Project and Programme Office Management
  • Enable and produce regular reports for Project or Programme Managers and the PMO Manager/Change Portfolio Lead, challenging the content
  • Collate, interpret and present project or administrative information in order to provide recommendations for action to improve data quality
  • Quality assure Project or Programme data, providing reporting and trend analysis, supporting the provision of accurate and meaningful MI, highlighting issues
  • Build and maintain effective partnership relationships within the programme to support effective delivery of projects
  • Support management to manage and assure the timely and accurate production of non resource and resource plans using defined tools and processes
  • Provide general support and guidance to the Transform and Change function
  • Ensure that TCF / Conduct risk principles are understood and embedded throughout the project lifecycle
What we’re looking for
  • Working towards Project Management and/or Project/Programme Office e.g. Prince2, APMP, ISEB at a foundation level is desirable but not essential
  • Strong verbal and numeracy skills
  • Strong quality and delivery focus
  • Good influencing and persuasion skills
  • Proven ability to analyse a broad range of management information and identify
  • recommendation actions
  • Excellent understanding of Office products particularly Excel with an ability to create and manage medium complexity spreadsheet solutions
  • Some knowledge of Project Office industry best practice and methodology  Some knowledge of Project & Programme Management industry best practice and methodology
  • Previous experience in a commercial, administrative or industrial environment with previous experience in project/programme environment 
  • “Customer service” focus with emphasis on support and delivery
