About This Role

Summary of the role
Trainee Outputs Governance Consultants are members of the Technical Centre. They are expected to become experts in managing the outputs governance process within the Aviva account (Operations), ensuring technical correctness of outputs and supporting the effective issuing of automated outputs. Supported by the Outputs Governance Consultant for the more complex of issues. They will learn to provide technical consultancy and support to staff, external clients and their advisers. They will also become proficient in providing specialist technical support concerning the outputs governance process within the Aviva account.
  
This is a 6-month secondment opportunity.
  
What you’ll be doing
  • Learn to analyse error trends, provide feedback and implement improvement activity to reduce defects by initiating process changes and or providing technical training
  • Learn to disseminate complex technical information (written and verbal communication) ensuring full understanding and onward cascade to those impacted.
  • Learn to act as senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects affecting the production of outputs ensuring work undertaken is technically compliant and risks are identified and raised in project risk registers
  • Learn all the processes to ensure the technical sign off of all projects relating to output production e.g. Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), procedure guides, test scripts, technical briefing material and Q&As etc. relating to output production.
  • Support in ensuring outputs are issued within the legislative timescale.
  • Manage the production of output-related governance reports covering all Annual Statement projects, audits, errors, issues and oversight of corrections. 
  • Learn to liaise with the client relationship team, other stakeholders and technical experts as a result of items highlighted in the report. Manage and develop the process of risk based checking of statement accuracy.
  • Learn all the processes to be able to create and manage an oversight process for the correction and resolution of output errors sent to the various areas of the business for correction. Suggest, develop and / or support formal technical training programmes that raise the technical competence of Operations staff. Manage the design and delivery of the agreed technical training programme as appropriate.
  • Earn to chair regular meetings with the client, IT and other interested parties, and organise/chair ad-hoc meetings to resolve new/urgent output issues or errors.
  • Build and maintain an effective relationship with Diligenta’s printing partner liaising with them directly to manage the printing of outputs during peak periods
  • Develop skills and behaviours as agreed with manager in order to support improved performance going forward including developing breadth of knowledge across other product and platform ranges
