About This Role

Summary of the role:

To manage and motivate a team of individuals to deliver the required standards of service.
 
Please note, as this is a people leadership role the successful applicant will be supported to succeed in their new role through enrolment in the appropriate level of our Diligenta Leadership 'Step' Pathway (subject to eligibility criteria), designed to drive quality and consistency across the organisation.  

What you'll be doing:
  • Team SLA’s including turn around times and quality (e.g. presentation, accuracy, completeness)
  • Staff motivation, morale and satisfaction
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Staff turnover
  • Legal compliance
  • Team working and project participation
  • Cost management (where appropriate)
  • Observed behaviours and feedback from key individuals
  • Delivery of specific projects and tasks in line with prescribed timescales and measures
  • Evidence of personal continuous improvement and driving continuous improvement within the team and wider area
  • Regulatory testing.
What we're looking for:
  • CII Financial Planning Certificate Paper 1- Financial Services and their Regulation. (FPC1) OR
  • CII Certificate in Financial Planning Paper 1-UK Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (CF1)
  • CII Financial Planning Certificate Paper 2 - Protection, Savings & Investment Products (FPC2) OR
  • CII Life Office Administration (FA1) AND/OR
  • CII Pensions Administration (FA2)
  • Excellent resource management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationships skills
  • Commercial knowledge
  • Product, process knowledge is beneficial as well as knowledge of legislation/regulations
  • Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
  • Well developed analytical and creative skills to aid problem solving and decision making
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Influencing skills - ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
  • Self motivated with the ability to not only take the lead when required but can equally work under own initiative in an organised manner
  • Ability to form and develop good relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability
