About This Role

Summary of the role:
        
To manage staff to ensure all Post Room / Return to Sender / Print SLA’s are achieved whilst adhering to governance / regulatory requirements, ISO9000, DPA etc. Work with team members to agree performance and quality targets, Develop and coach staff to achieve their performance targets and development plans. Identify and manage performance, behavioural and sickness issues to resolution in a timely manner within agreed processes Hold regular 121’s with all team members, provide constructive feedback as required. Identify and implement process improvements / cost saving initiatives ensuring that these meet business and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact the team achieving SLA’s / quality results. Review complaints and carry out root cause analysis as required, report findings to Complaints / Audit, identify and implement process improvements to prevent reoccurrence. Build excellent relationships with internal and external customers / teams to enable SLA’s / cost saving initiatives/ process improvements to be achieved. Work with Supplier Relationship Managers / 3rd party suppliers to resolve issues impacting the Post Room. Identify and implement improvements.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manage the Team to ensure all adherence to adhering to governance / regulatory requirements, ISO9000, DPA & TCF.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA in order to deliver Mailings to Clients Customer base.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Embed a continuous improvement culture to ensure the department is seen an enabler for transformation and migrations of new books of business.
  • Deliver an adhoc mailing operation to react, create and deliver on all EMT & Board presentations
What we're looking for:
  • GCSE Maths – Grade C minimum
  • GCSE English – Grade C minimum
  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of KOFAX
  • BaNCS
  • Able to work to tight deadlines i.e clear to zero on a daily basis
  • Familiar with Royal Mail Relay / Royal Mail processes
  • Client and customer focused
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Effective time management
  • Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively influence stakeholders and colleagues to implement change
