About This Role

Summary of the role:

To ensure that we are adhering to The Pension Regulator’s (TPR) code of general practice in regards to pension contribution monitoring. This includes verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders. 
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Pipeline management of any new missing contributions and monitoring of cases already in flight to ensure that we adhere to TPR code of general practice. 
  • Ensure compliance with TPR code of general practise by reporting schemes 90 days after the legal due date where contributions remain outstanding. 
  • Communicate with third parties and a variety of stakeholders to negotiate payments plans to ensure that missed contributions are paid in adherence to TPRs code of general practice.
  • Update TPR with any schemes that have missed contribution deadlines in accordance with the TPR code of general practice. 
  • Coordinate workflow with various internal dependencies to ensure that we are meeting the TPR general code of practice. 
  • Conduct audits on the contribution monitoring process to meet the standards set out by TPR. 
  • Take the relevant action on schemes that are persistent late payers to ensure the TPR code of general practise requirements are met. 
  • Ensure customers are informed where contributions to their pensions have ceased and Diligenta has not had a satisfactory response from their employer.
  • Conduct external audits (on pension schemes) at scheme level to ensure that the auto enrolment contribution levels are being adhered to by pension schemes.
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations on the handling of sensitive data to ensure no breaches occur.
What we're looking for:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s to include Maths and English C and above (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including questioning and influencing techniques.

  • Self starting and pro-active ability to work on own initiative.

  • Experience of working in life and pensions industry and an understanding of regulatory requirements
