About This Role

Summary of the role
As Account Communication & Engagement Lead you are to provide expert internal communications & engagement advice, support and delivery to the client Account, implementing the agreed Diligenta communications and engagement strategy to ensure that communications and engagement become a key enabler for Account performance.

To develop and drive the delivery of the account engagement and comms plan working closely with the Account SPP and the People Engagement Forum to improve the account eNPS score.

This is a 6-month opportunity.
  
What you’ll be doing
  • Develop an annual communications and engagement plan and calendar for the Account that supports Account objectives, Account People Plan, improves colleague retention and is fully aligned with the central Diligenta communications & engagement strategy and plan.
  • Deliver all elements of the Account communications and engagement plan including all Account-specific channels, events and activities
  • Provide support to the Account Director, Account SPP and leadership team with their communications activity
  • Develop and deliver communication plans for Account specific change activities
  • Support effective delivery of relevant Diligenta internal campaigns e.g. Diligenta colleague engagement survey, corporate wellbeing campaigns, leadership messaging
  • Drive maximum participation and engagement with Diligenta communications and engagement activities including regular channels, EMT engagement activity, ‘Ask Us Anything’ sessions, town halls etc.
  • Drive engagement with Diligenta CSR activities including Diversity & Inclusion and charity initiatives 
  • Contribute regularly and proactively to Diligenta channels
  • Ensure the look and feel of communication channels (e.g. newsletters, account director blog) are consistent with the company-wide approach (with engaging tone of voice)
  • Identify and maximise the opportunity to bring the ‘Diligenta story’ to life across Account locations (embracing visual management and local employee touchpoints)
  • Understand and adhere to Diligenta’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
  
  
What we’re looking for
  • Professional qualification from e.g. Institute of Internal Communications (desirable)
  • Relevant specific qualifications as required by the business / regulator
  • Experience in a specialist communications / engagement role
  • Experience of managing the delivery of internal channels and events
  • Experience of stakeholder management and partnering with leadership teams
  • Understanding of internal communications and engagement strategies and best practice
  • Broad current knowledge of the relevant product portfolio and systems which apply to the Account and the regulations, legislation and industry practices which govern them
  • Knowledge of the financial services / business process outsourcing market and the FCA regulatory environment including TCF.
  • Excellent understanding of the business drivers, Account business plan and key objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven copywriting skills
  • Ability to develop strong internal relationships and interact with colleagues at all levels
  • Self-motivated, flexible and responsive to business needs and changes in priorities and deadlines
