Summary of the role

We’re looking for an experienced communications and engagement professional to lead our corporate channels, elevate our brand, and bring clarity, consistency and creativity to the way we communicate. As our Senior Communications and Engagement Manager, you’ll take ownership of our communications & engagement strategy and delivery, manage and develop a team of experts, and work closely with leaders across the business to ensure our messages land with impact. You’ll play a vital role in connecting colleagues to our purpose, strengthening our culture, and shaping a positive and engaging experience across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading the day‑to‑day management and optimisation of our corporate communication channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant and engaging.
  • Driving initiatives to strengthen Diligenta’s brand and reputation - internally and externally.
  • Creating clear and compelling content across digital, virtual and face‑to‑face channels.
  • Advising and partnering with senior leaders to position communications as a key enabler of organisational success.
  • Managing, coaching and developing direct reports to deliver high‑quality work and grow their skills.
  • Using analytics, colleague feedback and insights to measure impact, refine strategies and improve reach.
  • Supporting the delivery of key campaigns and programmes aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Ensuring our tone of voice, messaging and visual identity remain consistent and aligned to our culture and values.
  
What we’re looking for
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in employee engagement, communications, or a related field - ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Strong writing, storytelling and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and inspire action.
  • Experience leading people or developing team capability.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at senior levels.
  • A strategic thinker who can also deliver hands‑on content and operational activity.
  • Someone who’s comfortable working in a hybrid environment and passionate about inclusive engagement.
  • A proactive and ‘can do’ approach with the ability to navigate change with resilience and creativity.
  • Experience using analytics or colleague insight to guide decision‑making and measure success.
  • Knowledge of agency or third‑party management is a bonus.
