About This Role

Summary of the role:
 
The Job Holder will oversee the change plan for Operations, working closely with the Snr Management team to ensure the changes are appropriately prioritized, embedded and benefits are realized. 
They will ensure that the business is fully prepared for Change and scheduled appropriately, from:
  • Transformation Change
  • Optimisation change
  • IT
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Client change
  • Regulatory change
They will understand & communicate impacts and benefits of change.
They will be the Gatekeeper/Guardian of “Change” impacting the Account, and protecting Customer outcomes.  They will produce the Change Roadmap for the area and ensure that it clearly understood by all parties.

What you'll be doing:
  • Produces a Change road map for the operations and tracks impacts of any increase in cost/risk and reports accordingly.
  • Identifies and agrees resource requirements to support Change
  • Liaises with the Client and with IT&Change when system issues arise from Change initiatives – and works together to establish the most appropriate approach for resolution, ensuring the Customer Outcome is at the forefront of any solution.
  • Budgetary responsibility for all internal Bancs change. Assessing impact and cost implications, on all new internal change. Responsible for delivery and tracking of business benefits from the change.
  • Prioritisation and escalation of Bancs defects, raised via BTS.  Liaises with relevant stakeholders where necessary in order to propose solutions, and keeps senior management and client informed of impacts where required.
  • Manages the Bancs release warranty process, with appropriate escalations and operation/client operational communications
  • To be main Operations representative at all Change & Programme Forums.
  • Responsible for producing weekly & monthly progress reports to the client lead & senior management team. 
  • Oversight of Journeys delivered under the HEART programme, ensuring they continue to meet ops and customer requirements. 
What we're looking for:
  • Educated to Graduate or equivalent (minimum of 2 A levels including Maths) with relevant industry related qualification, eg ACII desirable
  • An awareness of developments in the insurance market place and a full working knowledge of current corporate policy and strategy that has an impact on Operations management processes.
  • A detailed understanding of the client account strategy, business objectives, budget, structure, projects and operations.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Excellent power point and excel skills.
  • Strong leadership with good interpersonal skills, ability to influence and get things done
  • Development and implementation of system & change
  • Abreast of technical developments and their impact on operational activities
  • Commercial and service provision experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of business change within an Operations environment.
  • Experience of operations processes and a good technical understanding of these processes.
