Summary of the role
The Job holder will be key in supporting operational readiness and implementation of IT initiatives focused specifically on transformation, correspondence, data quality and testing.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively support the Transition and Transformation, Testing and Correspondence work-streams to identify errors, potential risks and assess the impact and find solutions to minimise migration issues
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both Life and Pensions across all processes. Ensuring processes are technically reviewed and the end output complies with New Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements
- Support the BAT, UAT and Model Office testing teams by providing technical knowledge of product and processes. Complete testing before every BaNCS release. Complete post release verification and regression testing after every release and provide updates on all aspects of testing results
- Develop testing plans using technical knowledge of BaNCS to ensure the delivered end product has had robust testing and is fit for achieving the purpose of full Bancs functionality at migration
- Work though defects that have been identified by the team, taking into account products and processes, to ensure suitable fixes are put in place and tested before being released
What we're looking for

- Ability to work independently
- Good understanding of MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail
- End to end Bancs processing
- Life and Pensions experience across payments in/out
- Previous experience with testing and defect management
